Pearlington families come to dinner
The families we served while in Pearlington, MS, for the past two weeks were our honored
guests for dinner last night. It was a gala time of stories and shared love as children of God.
Despite the chill in our circus tent dining room, there was plenty of warmth in the smiles and
hugs shared by all.

After dinner, members of our team presented prayer shawls to members of the families they
had served this week.  Sue Kage told the recipients that the shawls were lovingly and
prayerfully made by the women of First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, MI. The joy was in
their faces and the received the gift. (See photos below)

During devotions, Tom Lahiff read from the New Testament including these appropriate words:
Parting Shots Here
Prayer shawls as gifts
Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast what is good;
love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing
honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit and serve the Lord.
-Romans 12:9-11
